Review: From time to time the conversation will turn to a favorite movie. Ill mention Titanic, and at least a few people giggle. I pay them to mind, because I know that five years ago, these same people were moved to tears by this same film. And now they are ashamed to admit it.I just rewatched Titanic for the first time in a long time. Waiting just enjoy the story again, I was surprised to find that the film has lost none of its power over those five years. I cried again .... the same everywhere. It brought me back to 1997, when I remember how a movie that no one thought would be broken even become the most popular film of all time. A film that has been in the public consciousness like no other movie I remember (yes, even more than Star Wars). And today, many people still will not admit that I liked. Folks, let's get one thing straight - not look cool when you speak ill of this film. You seem so out of touch cynic. No film is perfect, and it has some bugs. Part of the dialogue falls to the ground, and some of the plot around the two lovers come together neatly something. However, none of this is so disturbing that it ruins the film.Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are wonderful. Leo is one of the good actors of his generation. Wait until you see it in New York bands before calling it more than just a pretty boy. Kate Winslet was so strong in this film. The film really belongs to her, and she grabbed it with beautifully.James Cameron has achieved what many thought impossible to entertain any credible Titanic. The sinking scenes were terrible, like it was that night. How can anyone say that the effects were bad is beyond me. I was completely transfixed. This film is a memorable scene after another. Titanic leaving the port of Southampton. Rose and Jack at the bow, flying. Iceberg ahead! The bolts hanging out of the incredible ocean. The cries of the doomed after she fell. And that brought the end to the burliest man in the theater to music tears. The, who was also a victim of the hit movie, was a key ingredient. James Horner score was just perfect. And the theme of love was beautiful and tragic. Pena Celine Dion version of pop song had to destroy this great little song therefore many.I confess, I'm a fan of Titanic. So I appreciated the opportunity to see the ship that we never did see it - in all its beauty. Perhaps watching her sink touched me more than a few because I've had such a right on the boat all my life. However, I doubt that many who saw cry was Titanic buffs. I applaud Cameron to bring this story to the masses in a way that has never been relegated to the tragedy. The film was made with such critical humanity.Another said better than I ever could: Open your heart to the Titanic, and will not disappoint.
