Review: When I saw this film from a film festival I probably would not appreciate it so much. Fortunately, director David Lowery offers amazing insight into the thought process of his artistic intentions and how he made this film. His attempt at a film classic creation, distinguished for its details, but otherwise typical of star-crossed eye genre lovers, into something so much more. The characters are more complex and do not fit neatly into traditional archetype. The audience will all feel violates growth partly to different characters and rooting for different results in different moments of the film. Introspection characters and long shots of the landscape certainly take precedence over plot development. If the depth of the story the depth of the characters that it's a performance film. The truth: big dezyèma with the film expertly cast. Percussion of clapping and playing and scoring in a unique southern, soulful feel; someone from Texas can attest, the combination of notes and images let the audience know that it is a small Texas town feel like.Lowery preceded film as popular film songs and all, the feeling of a song Townes Van Zandt. Film-goer keep writing popular songs in mind they will really appreciate the nuances of the film and enjoy the experience.
